We’re pleased to share that The Expanded Metal Company has been named a finalist in two categories at the Hartlepool Business Awards 2025.

The awards celebrate the achievements of businesses across Hartlepool and the wider region, recognising innovation, growth and community impact. The 2025 awards night will take place on Thursday 16th October at Hardwick Hall in Sedgefield.
We are especially proud to be the current holder of the Best Large Business Award and are hoping to make it two years in a row.
As well as being finalists, we are also supporting the event by sponsoring the Best New Business category. This award shines a light on the next generation of companies bringing fresh ideas, energy and opportunities to the town, something we believe is vital for Hartlepool’s future success.
The three companies shortlisted for Best New Business 2025 are Ignite Candles, The Resolve Group and Mystery Game Days, we look forward to celebrating their achievements on the night.
