The Expanded Metal Company was delighted to exhibit at EMCON 2025, held at Sunderland Live Arena on 18 September.
The event, organised by the Engineering and Manufacturing Network (EMN), brought together more than 120 exhibitors and hundreds of delegates from across the North East’s engineering and manufacturing community.
Visitors to our Stand 87 were able to chat with our team about all things expanded metal – from finishes and colours through to fabrication options such as framed architectural panels. We also highlighted the wide range of sectors we support and the value-added services we can provide.
The show provided an excellent opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces, make new connections, and discuss opportunities with businesses working in areas including manufacturing, recruitment, and quality.
It was particularly rewarding to see visitors recognise our architectural work on Hebburn Central Community Centre, which featured on our stand backdrop and sparked some engaging conversations.
Last year we attended EMCON under our ExMesh™ Engineering brand and were proud to win the Most Interactive Stand award. This year’s event once again proved to be a fantastic platform to fly the flag for North East manufacturing and share the versatility of expanded metal.
We’d like to thank EMN for organising such a successful event and everyone who took the time to visit us at our stand.
