The Prime Minister has announced new rules for England which include further restrictions in order to contain the spread of COVID-19.
These new guidelines will be voted on in Parliament today and are expected to come into force from Thursday.
It has been confirmed that manufacturing will continue to operate through this new lockdown period.
The Expanded Metal Company Limited will remain open and fully operational during this period and will continue to make and fulfil orders.
We have been carefully operating under the COVID-19 guidelines since April 2020 and have in place strict working practices to protect our employees and customers.
At this moment in time, we foresee no issues with manpower, resourcing, deliveries, materials or stock levels.
However, we urge any customers to place orders as soon as they can as raw material pricing and availability remain under pressure.
