We’re proud that we have been at the same site in Hartlepool since 1889 and we hope to stay here for many years to come. But in order for this to happen we realised that we needed to invest in the building we call our home.
We approached the Tees Valley Business Compass, and through their support we were able to secure investment for an energy efficiency project at the site. This has involved the fitting of new LED lighting which not only improves our green credentials but, it s enabling us to make long-term cost savings. These cost savings mean that we can compete with others in the industry with a modern building, without us losing the rich history we have.
